Mining
The latest technological development will enable operators to mine open cast operations with almost zero footprint. The process of removal of over-burden, mining and rehabilitation can be scheduled to happen simultaneously minimising waste mining and tailing storage requirements to the minimum.
Processing
Patented processing technologies will reduce the risk of acid mine drainage by leaving harmful acid in tailings. Heap, vat or tank leaching of suitable metals can be done without the harmful consequences of traditional leach acids.
Environmental
The advantages offered by the proposed mining and processing technologies will leave very little footprint on the environment and the large pits left after extracting minerals and metals from the earth will become something of the past.
